Youth Deserve a Chance to Dream - Working together to give our youth a better tomorrow.

Congratulations to Latoya Shaw, the 2007 YDCD Scholarship recipient.  Latoya is a 21 year old student attending York University.

She is actively involved in church, and is a member of the Youth Council and the audio visual team.  Latoya also spends her free time participating in a street feeding program with Touch of Love Ministries.  She is also a member of the choir.

At the time of her application she was in her first year of the Master of Environmental Studies program at York University.

The YDCD scholarship facilitated Latoya’s continued educational endeavors in this program.  She is currently completing her second year in the Masters’ program.
